RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDED SITE PLAN FOR KEARNS,
HUISMAN AND SCHUMACHER FUNERAL CHAPEL LOCATED AT THE
o k NORTHWEST CORNER OF PARK LANE AND KIMBALL AVENUE IN THE
r CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve an amended site plan for Kearns,
Huisman and Schumacher Funeral Chapel located at the northwest
corner of Park Lane and Kimball Avenue to reduce the number of
off-street parking spaces to 38 spaces, to provide one of the two
originally proposed accesses to the Kimball frontage road, and to
reduce the seating capacity to 126 seats, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was waived by the City Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, due to the insignificance of the
nature of said mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the amended site plan for Kearns,
Huisman and Schumacher Funeral Chapel located at the northwest
corner of Park Lane and Kimball Avenue in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1990, and approved
by the Mayor this 9th day of May, 1990.
