RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDED SITE PLAN FOR MIDWEST
OUTDOOR ADVERTISING TO CONSTRUCT A BILLBOARD ON
PROPERTY ZONED "S-1" PLANNED SHOPPING CENTER COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, OWNED BY THE WATERLOO WATER WORKS , AT THE
0 SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAN MARNAN DRIVE AND LAPORTE ROAD
IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Midwest Outdoor Advertising has proposed that the
Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve an amended site
plan for construction of a billboard on property zoned "S-1"
Planned Shopping Center Commercial District, owned by the
Waterloo Water Works, at the southwest corner of San Marnan Drive
and LaPorte Road, and legally described as follows:
Unplatted Wloo West N 5 a of that part of NE 1/4 Sec 2 T 88
R 13 lying Sly of Junction Hwys 218 & 412, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 9, 1990 , at 7 : 00
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned amended site plan, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said amended
site plan should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the amended site plan for
construction of a billboard on property zoned "S-1" Planned
Shopping Center Commercial District, owned by the Waterloo Water
Works, at the southwest corner of San Marnan Drive and LaPorte
Road, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 1990 , and
approved by the Mayor this 25th day of April, 1990.
