' WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1990-112, plans, specifications,
etc , for the F.Y. 1990 West Ridgeway Avenue Reconstruction
Proiect, _ known as Contract No. 383 , in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa', hale been approved and adopted by this Council after the
heari4Rrescribed by statute.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF
WATERLOO IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
is sordered on motion by this Council that the said
improvenints be constructed in accordance with said plans and
specifications.

TIpit the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly
estimatp, in cash, on the basis of 90 percent of the work as the
same iS' ompleted and materials delivered and the work approved,
except that before the last month' s payment is made the
contractgr may be required to furnish the City Council vouchers
showing that all subcontractors and workmen and persons
furnishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and
labor, :4d that the City may retain the last month' s payment for
a periok of 31 days following such completion and approval,
unless-satisfied that materials, men and laborers have been paid.
That said work shall be done by contract and shall be
commenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" and shall
be completed within thirty ( 30) calendar days thereafter.
