RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF THE BUILDING
MORATORIUM ON RELOCATED HIGHWAY 218 CORRIDOR FOR
STETSON BUILDING PRODUCTS CO. , 326 WEST 17TH
STREET, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Stetson Building Products Co. , 326 West 17th
Street, has requested a waiver of the building moratorium
on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor to attach two (2) 21 ' x 6 '
signs to existing building, and;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 5, 1990,
at 7: 00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo,
Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the request to approve the above
mentioned request; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said
waiver of building moratorium on Relocated Highway 218
Corridor be approved, as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the waiver to the building
moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor, for Stetson
Building Products Co. , 326 West 17th Street, to attach two
( 2 ) 21 ' x 6 ' signs to existing building, be and the same is
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
authorized and directed to forward a copy of this resolution
to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording in order
that this said action may become a matter of official County
Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1990.
