RESOLUTION RESCINDING AUTHORIZATION TO SELL AND
CONVEY 121 - 121 1/2 QUINCY STREET TO ROSE
PROPERTIES, INC.
WHEREAS, THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, is the owner of
real property in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described
below, and
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said certain parcel of
real property in the sum of Eleven Thousand, Five Hundred
Dollars ( $11 , 500. 00 ) was made by Rose Properties, Inc. , and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 5 ,
1989, as provided by law, by the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, authorizing the sale and conveyance of said
property as described below:
The east twenty ( 20) feet of Lot No. Thirty ( 30) and all
of Lot No. Thirty-One ( 31) in Subdivision of Block No.
Three ( 3 ) North Addition, Waterloo, Iowa.
WHEREAS, Rose Properties, Inc. failed to meet the terms
of the offer to buy said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as follows:
That the offer of Rose Properties, Inc. to purchase
real property as described above for the sum of Eleven
Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ( $11,500. 00) be, and it is
hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1990.
