1L' WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) has issued new regulations for admission
and income requirements; the Housing Authority submitted its
revised plans September 12, 1988, and February 6, 1989, and;
WHEREAS, the Administrative Plan and Admission Policy
are being amended to conform to the new federal regulations
on preferences and types of income to be considered or
excluded; and
WHEREAS, the Administrative Plan and Admission Policy
currently in use for other Section 8 Existing Housing
Certificates and the Housing Voucher units is hereby amended
to conform to HUD' s suggested modifications, and;
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development requires that the Administrative Plan and
Admission Policy be submitted to HUD for approval. This
approval was received November 9, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as by the Waterloo Housing
Authority, establishes the attached Administrative Plan and
Admission Policy for the Section 8 Existing Housing Project
IA05-E050-001/9, IA05-V050-001/9, and Ridgeway Towers
IA050003 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of February, 1990,
approved by the Mayor this 14th day of February, 1990.
