RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CERTIFICATE OF
COMPLETION AND FINAL ACCEPTANCE AS TO
WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY
HURST EXCAVATING COMPANY , INC. FOR
LINCOLN-ACKERMANT AREA STORM SEWER &
PUMPING STATION , STAGE I , CONTRACT NO .
205 AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY
AND ACCEPTING THE WORK .
WHEREAS , Hurst Excavating Company , Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa
have under contract with the City of Waterloo , Iowa , furnished
certain materials and performed labor in connection with
Lincoln -Ackermant Area Storm Sewer & Pumping Station , Stage I ,
Contract No . 205 , in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of the City Engineer for the
work performed and materials furnished by the said contractors
under said contract is $444 , 343 . 60 , and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Hurst Excavating Company , Inc . are to be paid 90% of the monthly
estimates as furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA :
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Hurst Excavating , Inc . be paid the sum of $569. 99 and the same be
delivered to the said Hurst Excavating Company , Inc.
Passed and adopted this 21st day of December , 1981 .
