RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE REMOVAL OF A
DISEASED DUTCH ELM TREE ON THE PREMISES
AT 1714 LOCKE AVENUE OWNED BY PAUL G.
VERBRAKEN WITH COST TO BE ASSESSED
AGAINST SAID PREMISES .
WHEREAS , notice had been served upon Paul G . Verbraken ,
owner of 1714 Locke Avenue, Waterloo , Iowa , requesting the removal
of Diseased Dutch Elm Tree on said premises , and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 7 , 1981 , as
prescribed by Section 35 . 1 of the Waterloo Code of Ordinances , by
the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa. on the removal of
Diseased Dutch Elm Tree on the premises at 1714 Locke Avenue owned
by Paul G . Verbraken and described as :
Lot 162 , Pleasant View Addition , City of Waterloo ,
Black Hawk County , Iowa
now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA ,
that the Diseased Dutch Elm Tree on the premises at 1714 Locke
Avenue owned by Paul G . Verbraken , be , and the same is hereby
ordered removed with cost thereof to be assessed against said
premises .
Passed and adopted this 7th day of December , 1981 .

A part of Lots 1 & 2 in Mill Square in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, and that part of the
alley dedicated in the original plat of Mill Square
lying within the following described boundary: Beginning
at a point on the northwesterly line of said Lot 2,
which point is 52.5 feet northeasterly from the westerly
corner of said Lot 2; thence northeasterly along the
northwesterly line of said Lot 2 a distance of 17.94 feet;
thence southeasterly along a line which is parallel with
° the southwesterly line of said Lot 2 a distance of 25.12
feet to the northwesterly line of said Lot 1; thence
northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot 1
and its extension a distance of 70.00 feet; thence south-
easterly along a line which is parallel with the south-
westerly line of said Lots 1 & 2 a distance of 41.20 feet;
thence southwesterly along a straight line, which line if
extended would intersect the southwesterly line of said
Lot 1 at a point which is 66.44 feet southeasterly from
the westerly corner of said Lot 2, a distance of 87.94
feet; thence northwesterly along a line which is parallel
with the southwesterly line of said Lots 1 & 2 a distance
of 66.35 feet to the point of beginning;
