RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF
LARRY OLTROGGE , TO REZONE FROM "A- 1 "
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT to "R-4"
MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT A
PARCEL OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED WEST
OF U . S. HIGHWAY 63 AND NORTH OF U . S .
HIGHWAY 57 , AS DECEMBER 14 , 1981 , AT
7 : 00 P .M. IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE
OF HEARING .
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo , Iowa at 7 : 00 P.M . on the 14th day of December, 1981 for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Larry
Oltrogge to rezone from "A-1 " Agricultural District to "R-4" Multiple
Family Residence District a parcel of land generally located west of
U . S . Highway 63 and north of U . S . Highway 57 and legally described as
follows :
The Southwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 of Section 2 Township 89 Range
13 West of the 5th Prime Meridian . Also part of the northeast 1/4 of
Section 2 T89 Range 13 commencing at the northeast corner of the
south 1/2 of the southeast 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 thence west along
the north line of the south 1/2 of the southeast 1/4 of the northeast
1/4 thence north 600 feet thence east on a line which is 600 feet
north of and parallel with the north line of the south 1/2 of the
southeast 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 to the east line of Section 2
thence south 600 feet to place of beginning except the north 200 feet
of the east 373 feet , also the north 60 feet of the south 1/4 of the
northeast 1/4 except the easterly 200 feet of the north 21 . 08 feet
and except the easterly 373 feet of the south 38. 92 feet of the north
60 feet of Section 2 township 89 range 13 except the easterly 266 . 05
feet of the entire parcel described above .
now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time
and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of November , 1981 .
