RESOLUTION ENDORSING SENATE FILE 354 OF THE
STATE OF IOWA TO CIVIL SERVICE FOR CITIES .
WHEREAS , Senate File 354 has been introduced into the Iowa
Legislature relating to Civil Service for cities in the State of
Iowa , and
WHEREAS , said legislation is in the interest of maintaining
good government in the recruiting and retaining of qualified
employees .
NOW , THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO , IOWA that said Senate File 354 relating to Civil Service
for cities in the State of Iowa be endorsed by the Council of the
City of Waterloo , Iowa , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said File be actively supported
throughout the legislative process .
Passed and adopted this 16th day of November , 1981 .
