A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATING OF A GREENWAY EASEMENT ALONG EAST
SIDE OF CARRIAGE HILL APARTMENT COMPLEX AS
NOVEMBER 16 , 1981 , AT 7 : 00 P . M . IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS , WATERLOO , IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA , AS
FOLLOWS :
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa shall
meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at
7 : 00 P. M . , on the 16th day of November , 1981 , for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate a greenway easement
along the east side of Carriage Hill Apartment complex described as
follows :
From an R-1 Residence District to an R-2 Residence
District that part of the West Fractional One-half
of the Northwest Fractional One-quarter of Section
No. Three ( 3) , Township Eighty-eighty ( 88 ) North ,
Range Thirteen ( 13) West of the Fifth P .M. in the
City of Waterloo , Black Hawk County, Iowa , bounded
as follows :
Beginning at a point in the North line of said 10
feet to be abandoned of Section No. Three ( 3 ) which
is 175 . 45 feet West of the Northeast Corner of the
West Fractional One-half of the Northwest
Fractional One-quarter of said Section No . Three
( 3 ) ;
Thence South along a line which is parallel with
the East line of the West Fractional One-half of
the Northwest Fractional One-quarter of said
Section , a distance of 1089 feet ; thence East along
a line parallel with the North line of said Section
No. Three ( 3 ) to a point which is 165 . 45 feet West
of the East line of said Northwest Fractional
One-quarter of Section No. Three ( 3 ) ; thence North
along a line which is parallel with and 165 . 45 feet
West of the East line of said Northwest Fractional
One-quarter (said line also being the West line of
the East 4. 43 acres of the West Fractional One-half
of the Northwest Fractional One-quarter of said
