A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FROM THE FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING FUND THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED
TWENTY TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY NINE
DOLLARS ($ 522,249.00) TO THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council passed the 1981-1982 Fiscal
Budget on March 3, 1981, allocating $ 18,000. for Fire Equipment,
$ 29,817. for Visiting Nurses, $ 11,556. for Veneral Disease,
$ 8,937. for Clean Community Commission, $ 9,080. for Animal
Control, $ 52,434. for Substance Abuse, $ 10,650. for Municipal
Band, $ 10,000. for Grout Museum, $ 2,000. for Cedar Arts Forum,
$ 19,392. for Housing Management, $ 50,383. for Council on Aging,
$ 300,000. for MET Transit within the General Fund, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a transfer be made for the amount
of $ 522,249.00 from the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to the
General Fund, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be instructed
to certify a copy of this Resolution to the City Treasurer of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa in order that said transfer be made.
Passed and adopted this 26th day of October 1981.
