RESOLUTION NO. 2023-124
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 30, 2023, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 3, 2023, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2023 BROADWAY STREET AND E. SAN
MARNAN DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1072, AND DIRECT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2023 Broadway Street and E. San Marnan Drive Reconstruction Project,
Contract No. 1072, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Broadway Street and
E. San Marnan Drive Reconstruction Project, Contract No. 1072, be scheduled for March 30,
2023 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of April 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Broadway Street and E. San Marnan
Drive Reconstruction Project, Contract No. 1072.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
