RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH
NATIONAL PARK SERVICE FOR PRESERVE AMERICA
GRANT ON BEHALF OF THE GROUT MUSEUM AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application dated February 8, 2010, for a Preserve
America Grant on behalf of the Grout Museum, in an amount not to
exceed $35,000.00, and a required match of 50 percent to be
provided by the Grout Museum through in-kind donations, to be
used for documentation of the Sans Souci Island history, by and
between the National Park Service and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of February, 2010.
