RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $6 , 303 . 74
ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO
MRS . BETTY WILLIAMS , RETIRED AS AN
EMPLOYEE OF THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL
PLANT IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA.
WHEREAS , on the 29th day of September , 1981 , Mrs . Betty
Williams met her death as an employee of the Water Pollution
Control Plant in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and
WHEREAS , Mrs . Betty Williams has accumulated 752 1/2 hours
of sick leave and is entitled to payment for same, and
WHEREAS , Mrs . Betty Williams has earned and is entitled to
147 hours vacation pay, now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA, that the Estate of Mrs . Betty Williams be paid the total sum
of $6 , 303 . 74 being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave
and earned vacation , and that the Finance Director be, and he is
hereby , authorized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrant
accordingly for said sum and deliver the same to the Estate of
Mrs . Betty Williams .
Passed and adopted by City Council on the 12th day of
October , 1981 , approved by the Mayor on the 14th day of October ,
1981 .
