RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS , FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST , ETC . , FOR LINCOLN-ACKERMANT STORM &
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS , STAGE III ,
CONTRACT NO. 227 .
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa ,
heretofore employed Brice , Petrides & Associates , Inc . , Waterloo ,
Iowa , to prepare proposed specifications and proposed form of
contract for the Lincoln-Ackermant Storm & Sanitary Sewer
Improvements , Stage III , Contract No . 227 , in said City , and
WHEREAS , said engineers have completed the preparation of
said proposed , specifications and proposed form of contract so far
as the same relate to the Lincoln-Ackermant Storm & Sanitary Sewer
Improvements , Stage III , Contract No . 227 , and has this day placed
the same on file with the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , and after examination and due consideration thereof by this
Council the same appear to be in compliance with the order of this
Council and suitable for the purpose intended , now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
Section 1 - That said proposed specification and proposed
form of contract for the Lincoln-Ackermant Storm & Sanitary Sewer
Improvements , Stage III , Contract No . 227 , be , and the same are
hereby approved and ordered placed on file for public
examination .
Section 2 - That the 26th day of October, 1981 , at 7 : 00 P.M .
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , is fixed as the time and place of hearing on said proposed

te-refore ,

Section 3 - That the City Clerk be , and he is hereby ,
authorized and instructed to publish the necessary notice as
required by law.
