RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AND COMPLETION REPORT AS TO
WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY
TAYLOR- ISENHOWER , INC . , HUDSON , IOWA FOR
F . Y . 1981 18TH STREET BRIDGE PAINTING AND
REPAIRS , CONTRACT NO. 220 AND CERTIFYING
PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY AND ACCEPTING THE
WORK.
WHEREAS , Taylor- Isenhower of Hudson , Iowa have under
contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa , dated April 13 , 1981 ,
furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
F . Y . 1981 18th Street Bridge Painting and Repairs , Contract No.
220 , in the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of City Engineer for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under
said contract is $ 182 , 184 . 25, and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Taylor Isenhower, Inc . , are to be paid 95% of the monthly
estimates as furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , and
WHEREAS , said contractors have been previously paid the
amount of $ 173 , 929 . 62 leaving a balance due of $9 , 154 . 19, now,
therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA :
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Taylor- Isenhower, Inc. , be paid the sum of $9 , 154. 19 30 days after
date of September 14 , 1981 , and the same be delivered to the said
Taylor-Eisenhower, Inc .
Passed and adopted this 14th day of September , 1981 .
