A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT
WITH IOWA PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS , the City of Waterloo, Iowa and Iowa Public Service entered into
an Easement Agreement on January 19, 1979 for the protection, maintenance and
repair of Flood Control devices located at Virden Creek and the Cedar River,
and
WHEREAS , it is necessary to amend Paragraph 5 of the Agreement to clarify
the responsibilities of the City and Iowa Public Service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Amendment in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
