A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND RECEIVING OF BIDS AS SEPTEMBER
28, 1981, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS
OF CITY HALL, WATERLOO, IOWA ON THE
PROPOSAL TO SELL AND CONVEY PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH AND WEST OF JOHN
STREET EXTENDED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as follows :
1 . That public hearing and receiving of bids will be held
by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall of Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 P.M. on this
28th day of September, 1981, on the proposal to sell and convey
certain real property owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
described as :
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 41 Auditor
Rainbow' s Plat of Bicksler's Addition to Waterloo;
thence Northerly along the West line of Lots 41 and
11 Auditor Rainbow' s Plat of Bicksler 's Addition
to a point 274.5 feet South of the Northwest corner
of said Lot 11 ; thence Easterly parallel with the south
line of said Lot 11 a distance of 129 feet; thence
Southwesterly to a point on the South line of said
Lot 41 said point being 25 feet East of the Southwest
corner of said Lot 41 ; thence Westerly a distance of
25 feet to the point of beginning.
A fifteen (15) foot easement is being required along
the easterly portion of the above-described property.
with a minimum bid of $900 .00, plus costs.
2. That the City Council is hereby authorized and directed
to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Daily Courier by publication once not less than 4 days
nor more than 20 days before the meeting of the Council at which
said proposal is to be acted on.
