RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF
WATERLOO ZONING COMMISSION, TO REZONE FROM
"M-1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "U-1"
UNCLASSIFIED DISTRICT A PARCEL OF LAND
GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN W. 11TH STREET
AND W. 18TH STREET AND NORTH OF BLACK HAWK
STREET, AS SEPTEMBER 14, 1981, AT 7 : 00 P.M.
IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 P.M. on the 14th day of September, 1981 for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Waterloo
Zoning Commission to rezone from "M-1" Light Industrial District
to "U-1" Unclassified District a parcel of land generally located
between W. llth and W. 18th Streets and north of Black Hawk Street
and legally described as follows :
Beginning at the most southerly corner of West
Eleventh Street and Black Hawk Street; thence
Northeasterly along the southeast right-of-way
line of West Eleventh Street to the Cedar River;
thence southeasterly along the Cedar River to the
northwest right-of-way line of West Eighteenth
Street; thence southwesterly along the northwest
right-of-way line of West Eighteenth Street to the
southwest right-of-way line of Black Hawk Street;
thence northwest to the point of beginning.
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA that
the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time
and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of August, 1981 .
