WHEREAS , on the 7th day of August , 1981 , Harold Ricks will ' retire
as an employee of the Police Department in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , and ; Uj _: r=

WHEREAS , Harold Ricks has accumulated 122 days of ssick leave
and is entitled to payment for same, and
WHEREAS , Harold Ricks has earned and is entitled to 46 days
vacation pay, now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA , that Harold Ricks be paid the total sum of $12 , 055 . 68 being
payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation , and that the Finance Director be , and he is hereby ,
authorized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Harold Ricks .
Passed and adopted by City Council on the 10th day of
August , and approved by the Mayor on the 12th day of August ,
1981 .
