RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE OILING OF
VARIOUS STREETS , AVENUES , DRIVES ,
COURTS , ALLEYS , ETC . AND PORTIONS
THEREOF IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA,
AS DESIGNATED IN RESOLUTION NO . 1981-319
BEING RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY, ADOPTED
JUNE 22 , 1981 .
F . Y . 1981 OILING PROGRAM , CONTRACT NO. 225
WHEREAS , on the 22nd day of June , 1981 , the City Council of the
City of Waterloo , Iowa , passed and adopted Resolution No.
1981- 319 , being Resolution of Necessity for the oiling of various
streets , avenues , drives , courts , alleys , etc . and portions of
streets , avenues , drives , courts , alleys , etc. in the City of
Waterloo , Iowa , said streets , avenues , drives , courts , alleys ,
etc . being described in said Resolution of Necessity.
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA: that the streets , avenues , drives , courts ,
alleys , etc. described in said Resolution of Necessity , being
Resolution No. 1981-319 , which by this reference is made a part
hereof with the same force and effect as if set out herein
verbatim , be improved by oiling the same and that the cost and
expense of said improvement be assessed againt the real estate
abutting thereon .
That said work shall be done in accordance with the plans and
specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk , and shall
be done by the Superintendent of Streets under the direction of
the City Engineer, and the Public Works Committee of this Council ,
and an itemized account of all the costs and expenses thereof
shall be kept and a report of the same made to this Council upon
m the completion of said work .
