RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CONTRACT NO. B-81-MC-19-0008 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO AND THE U. S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa filed an application with the Department
of Housing and Urban Development for funding under Title I of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 in the amount of $1,288,000, and
WHEREAS, said application has been approved by the Department of Housing
and Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Housing and Community
Development Block Grant Contract No. B-81-MC-19-0008 in the amount of $1,288,000,
in three counterparts on behalf of the City of Waterloo, and to forward said
counterparts to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Passed and adopted this ( 5 day of June 1981.
