A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO RONALD A.
PETERSON OF 467 SOUTH HACKETT ROAD , AND AUTHORIZING
CONSTRUCTION OF ONE ( 1 ) TEMPORARY ASPHALT DRIVEWAY
IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATER OFFICIAL GRADE .
8F IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF PIE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA :
That ,
WHEREAS , Ronald A. Peterson has made written application to
the City Council asking that he he authorized and permitted to
construct one ( 1 ) temporary asphalt driveway without respect to a
permanent sidewalk grade when and if the same may be subsequently
set on AUD WHITNEY ROAD PLAT WLOO PART OF LOT 29 COM A PT ON W
LINE SAID LOT WHICH IS 30 FT N OF SW COR SAID LOT TH N 35 FT TH E
200 FT TH S 85 FT TH W 200FTTO BEG. knotin as 467 S. Hackett
Road ; and
WHEREAS , it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo. Iowa , that said request should be granted, now,
therefore,
1- E: IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to
Ronald A. Peterson to construct one ( 1 ) temporary asphalt driveway
in accordance with the existing contour of the abutting land with
the subjective understanding and agreement between the City of
Waterloo, Iowa , and the said Ronald A. Peterson that , should at a
later date a permanent formal grade he established for sidewalk
purposes or otherwise, that the said Ronald A. Peterson will
immediately thereafter, and at his own expense, remove all or
whatever portion of temporary asphalt driveway he may have
constructed, and rebuild or reconstruct the same in accordance
with the permanent grade as (3ay hereafter be set and established ,
the work to he done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that the Deputy City Clerk is
authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this
resolution to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recordiny and the
Black Hawk County Auditor for filing in order that this said
action may become a matter of official County Record.
Passed and adopted this 15th day of June , 1981 .
