HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-299-06.08.1981 RESOLUTION NO . 1981-299 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AND FINAL ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY MCANINCH CORPORATION FOR F . Y . 1981 CARRIAGE HILL RETENTION BASIN , SECTION I & II , CONTRACT NO . 210 AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY AND ACCEPTING THE WORK. WHEREAS , McAninch Corporation of Waterloo , Iowa have under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa , furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with F . Y . 1981 Carriage Hill Retention Basin , Section I & II , Contract No. 210 , in the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and WHEREAS , the completion report of the City Engineer for the work performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under said contract is $39 ,421 . 75 , and WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors , McAninch Corporation are to be paid 95% of the monthly estimates as furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and WHEREAS , said contractors have been previously paid the amount of $36 , 949 . 06 leaving a balance due of $2 ,472 . 69, now, therefore , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA: That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors , McAninch Corporation be paid the sum of $2 , 472. 69 and the same be delivered to the said McAninch Corporation .
