RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AND COMPLETION REPORT AS TO
WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY STOKES
LANDSCAPING, INC . FOR F . Y. 1981 DAWSON
STREET SIDEWALK PROGRAM , CONTRACT NO . 217
AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY AND
ACCEPTING THE WORK.
WHEREAS , Stokes Landscaping, Inc . of Waterloo , Iowa have
under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa , dated January 12 ,
1981 , furnished certain materials and performed labor in
connection with F . Y. 1981 Dawson Street Sidewalk Program, Contract
No. 217 , in the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of City Engineer for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under
said contract is $9 , 541 . 88, and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Stokes Landscaping, Inc . , are to be paid 90% of the monthly
estimates as furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , and
WHEREAS , said contractors have been previously paid the
amount of no dollars leaving a balance due of $9 , 541 . 88, now,
therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA :
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Stokes Landscaping , Inc. , be paid the sum of $9 , 541 . 88 and the
same be delivered to the said Stokes Landscaping, Inc .
Passed and adopted this 8th day of June , 1981 .
