RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AND COMPLETION REPORT AS TO
WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY STOKES
LANDSCAPING, INC. FOR F . Y . 1981 CARRIAGE
HILL RETENTION BASIN , SECTION 3, CONTRACT
NO . 210 AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY
AND ACCEPTING THE WORK .
WHEREAS , Stokes Landscaping, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa have
under contract with the City of Waterloo , Iowa , dated December 1 ,
1980, furnished certain materials and performed labor in
connection with F .Y . 1981 Carriage Hill Retention Basin , Section
3 , Contract No . 210, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of City Engineer for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under
said contract is $3 , 599 . 32 , and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Stokes Landscaping, Inc. , are to be paid 90% of the monthly
estimates as furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , and
WHEREAS , said contractors have been previously paid the
amount of no dollars leaving a balance due of $3 , 599 . 32, now,
therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA:
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Stokes Landscaping , Inc. , be paid the sum of $3 , 599. 32 and the
same be delivered to the said Stokes Landscaping, Inc.
Passed and adopted this 8th day of June , 1981 .
