HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-294-06.08.1981 RESOLUTION NO. � 7 b I — Q 914 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AND THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL GULF RAILROAD WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa has undertaken the Local Flood Protection Project, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to obtain a Permanent Easement on property of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, hereinafter described, in order to carry out said Flood Control Project NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa that the attached Easement Agreement with the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad for property hereinafter described, all of which is situated in the City of Waterloo, Iowa is accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the Agreement with the Railroad; and be it further resolved the City of Waterloo is directed to pay $1,238.00 for the easements from Flood Control funds.
