RESOLUTION FORGIVING ALL FUTURE PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF
TAXES FOR RIDGEWAY TOWERS , IA-50-3.
WHEREAS, the long term viability of the project is heavily
dependent upon reducing operating costs with an emphasis on conserving
operating funds for physical maintenance of the structure; and,
WHEREAS, historically, the project has not been able to meet its
timely obligations for payments in lieu of taxes ,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of. the City of
Waterloo, Iowa that the City of Waterloo, Iowa hereby waives its
right under the Annual Contributions Contract to all future payments
of lieu of taxes from Ridgeway Towers , IA-50-3.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa this 1st day of June, 1981, and approved by the Mayor this
1st day of June, 1981.
