RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $120,000.00 AS THE CITY 'S SHARE FOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE CAPITAL ASSISTANCE GRANT TO ENLARGE THE GARAGE/OFFICE
OF THE METROPOLITAN TRANSIT AUTHORITY OF BLACK HAWK COUNTY, INC.
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Black Hawk County, Inc.
has received a grant from the United States Department of Transportation for
the purpose of enlarging the existing garage and office; and
WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Transportation requires that the City
of Waterloo contribute the sum of no more than $120,000,00 as the City's share
to participate in the garage/office expansion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the sum of $120,000,00 is hereby authorized for
expenditure to the U. S. Department of Transportation as the City's share
for participation in the garage/office expansion.
