RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF
CHARLIE TEAGUE TO CONDUCT AN AUTO SALVAGE
OPERATION ON A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ALONG
THE EASTERN BOUNDARY OF BLACK HAWK WASTE
DISPOSAL AND NORTH OF ROUNDS & PORTER CO. AS
JUNE 22 , 1981 , AT 7 : 00 P. M . IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7 : 00 P .M. on the 22nd day of June , 1981 for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Charlie
Teague to conduct an Auto Salvage operation on a parcel of land
generally located along the eastern boundary of Black Hawk Waste
Disposal and north of Rounds and Porter Co. and legally described
as follows :
That part of the South 597 . 50 feet of the
Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 and the
North 103 . 50 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of
the Southeast 1/4 all in Section 30,
Township 89 North , Range 12 West of the 5th
P .M. in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa
described as follows :
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of the
Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 said
Section 30 ; thence North 89 degrees 35 ' 50 "
East along the South Line of the Southeast
1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 said Section 30 a
distance of 441 feet to the Point of
Beginning ; thence North 0 degrees 00 ' East
a distance of 597 . 28 feet to the North Line
of the South 597 . 50 feet of the Southeast
1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 said Section 30 ;
thence North 89 degrees 36 ' 20 " East along
the North Line of the South 597 . 50 feet of
the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 said
Section 30 a distance of 66 . 35
feet ; thence South 0 degrees 00 ' West a
distance of 656 . 77 feet ; thence South 89
degrees 35 ' 50" West along a Line parallel
with the North Line of the Northeast 1/4 of
the Southeast 1/4 said Section 30 a
distance of 66 . 35 feet ; thence North 0
degrees 00 ' East a distance of 59 . 50 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA :
That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
