RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF
$11 , 750 . 18 ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND
VACATION PAY TO ARTHUR F. ECKLUND ,
RETIRED AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA.
WHEREAS , on the 15th day of June , 1981 , Arthur F . Ecklund will
retire as an employee of the Fire Department in the City of
Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS , Arthur F . Ecklund has accumulated 219 days of sick
leave and is entitled to payment for same , and
WHEREAS , Arthur F . Ecklund has earned and is entitled to
five weeks , and six twenty-four hour vacation days , and 1/2
personal day pay , now , therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA , that Arthur F. Ecklund be paid the total sum of $11 , 750. 18
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation , and that the Finance Director be , and he is hereby,
authorized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Arthur F. Ecklund.
Passed and adopted by City Council on the 26th day of May ,
1981 , approved by the Mayor on the 28th day of May , 1981 .
