A RESOLUTION CRANTING PERMISSION TO ELmEP mENNENGA,
AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE ( 1 ) TEMPORARY
ASPHALT DRIVEWAY IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATER OFFICIAL
GRADE .
8F IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLno , IDwA:
That ,
4HEPEA5 , Elmer frennenge , has 'ade written application to the
City Council asking that he he authorized and permitted to
construct one ( 1 ) temporary asphalt driveway without respect to m
permanent sidewalk grade when and if the same nay be eubseeuently
set on Clyde Miller Heights , Waterloo, Lot 14, Sleek 3 known es
77 ; Auburn Street ; and
WHEREAS , it is the sense of the Council of the City of
'Waterloo, Iowa , that said request should be granted, now,
therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to
Elmer Mennenga to construct one ( 1 ) temporary asphalt driveway at
225 Auburn in accordance with the existing contour of the abutting
land with the suhiective understanding and agreement between the
City of Waterloo, Iowa , and the said Elmer Mennenga that , should
at a later date a permanent foreal grade he established for
sidewalk purposes or otherwise, that the said Elmer Mennenge will
iwlediately thereafter, and at his own expense, remove all or
whatever portion of temporery asphalt driveway he may have
constructed, Arid rehuild or reconstruct the sare3 in accordance
with the permanent qrade as eay hereafter he set and established,
the work to he done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
r!7 IT FURTHER REscivr:n , that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
flack Hawk County Recorder for recording and the 8lack Hawk County
Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a
matter of official County Record.
