RESOLUTION ADOPTING REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN FOR
THE SECTION 8 EXISTING HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS
PROGRAM OF THE WATERLOO HOUSING AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS , the current Administrative Plan for the Section 8 Existing
Housing Program in Waterloo has not been amended since its inception in
November, 1977; and,
WHEREAS, since November, 1977 , there have been significant changes
in federal regulations governing the administration of the program
which are not reflected in the current plan; and,
WHEREAS , certain desirable operating efficiencies have been developed
since the inception of the program which require official recognition
and acceptance as standard practice in the revised Administrative Plan,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approves and adopts the attached Administrative Plan
for the Section 8 Existing Housing Assistance Payments Program,
IA05-E050-001-002-003-004-005 , and that said Administrative Plan
incorporates the Waterloo Housing Authority' s "Admission Policy" for
the program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 18th day of May, 1981,
and approved by the Mayor this 18th day of May, 1981.
