A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo through its Community Development Board
has submitted an application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development
for Community Development Block Grant funds; and
WHEREAS, said application involves funds for paving; and
WHEREAS, engineering services are required for preparation of the
plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, a contract for said engineering services has been prepared.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to enter into a Contract
for Professional Services (Engineering) with Wayne Claassen Engineering and
Surveying, Inc. for the purpose of the Seventh Year Community Development Block
Grant Paving Program.
