RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS , FORM OF CONTRACT ,
ESTIMATED COST , ETC . , FOR
LINCOLN-ACKERMANT STORM AND SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS , STAGE II , CONTRACT
NO . 214 .
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa ,
heretofore employed Brice , Petrides & Associates , Inc. Waterloo ,
Iowa , to prepare proposed , specifications and proposed form of
contract for the Lincoln-Ackermant Storm and Sanitary Sewer
Improvements , Stage II , Contract No . 214 , in said City , and
WHEREAS , said engineers have completed the preparation of
said proposed , specifications and proposed form of contract so far
as the same relate to the Lincoln-Ackermant Storm and Sanitary
Sewer Improvements , Stage II , Contract No. 214 , and has this day
placed the same on file with the City Clerk of the City of
Waterloo , Iowa , and after examination and due consideration
thereof by this Council the same appear to be in compliance with
the order of this Council and suitable for the purpose intended ,
now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA :
Section 1 - That said proposed specification and proposed
form of contract for the Lincoln-Ackermant Storm and Sanitary
Sewer Improvements , Stage II , Contract No . 214 , be , and the same
are hereby approved and ordered placed on file for public
examination .
Section 2 - That the 1st day of June , 1981 , at 7 : 00 P .M . at
Lincoln School , W. Parker and Burton Avenues in the City of
Waterloo , Iowa , is fixed as the time and place of hearing on said
