RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $6 , 565 . 02 ACCUMULATED
SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO GRACE F. HOLBROOK,
RETIRED AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE BUILDING INSPECTION
DEPARTMENT IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA.
WHEREAS , on the 29th day of May , 1981 , Grace F. Holbrook
will retire as an employee of the Building Inspection Department
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and
WHEREAS , Grace F . Holbrook has accumulated 960 hours of sick
leave and is entitled to payment for same, and
WHEREAS , Grace F . Holbrook has earned and is entitled to 258
hours vacation pay, now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA, that Grace F. Holbrook be paid the total sum of $6 , 565 . 02
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation , and that the Finance Director be , and he is hereby,
authorized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Grace F. Holbrook .
Passed and adopted by City Council on the llth day of May,
1981 , approved by the Mayor on the 13th day of May , 1981 .
