A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF STARLITE
BLVD. , AS JUNE 1 , 1981, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN
LINCOLN SCHOOL, W. PARKER AND BURTON
AVENUES, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF
HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at Lincoln School, W. Parker and Burton Avenues in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7: 00 P.M. , on the 1st day of June, 1981,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell
and convey a portion of Starlite Blvd. owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows :
Starlite Boulevard from the north right-of-way line of
Crossway Drive to the south right-of-way line of U.S.
Highway 218 as now established, subject to an easement being
retained over, under, above the following described parcel :
All that part of Starlite Boulevard located in Black
Hawk County, Waterloo, Iowa, west of the 5th P.M.
described as follows :
Beginning at the southwest corner of University Avenue
and Starlite Boulevard as now established; thence
southeasterly along a line 55 feet from and parallel
with the centerline of University Avenue as now
established to the easterly line of Starlite
Boulevard; thence south along the east line of
Starlite Boulevard a distance of 35 feet; thence
northwesterly parallel with the centerline of
University Avenue to a point 10 feet normal distant
easterly of the centerline of Starlite Boulevard;
thence southerly along a line 10 feet easterly of and
parallel with the centerline of Starlite Boulevard to
the north R-O-W line of Crossway Drive; thence
northwesterly along the north R-O-W line of Crossway
Drive to a point 20 feet normal distant westerly of
the centerline of Starlite Boulevard; thence northerly
along a line 20 feet west of and parallel with the
