RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE
OF CERTAIN EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY TO TN F NATIONAL
RANK OF WATERLOO AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A DEED FOR
SAME .
WHEREAS , the City of Waterloo , Iowa , is the owner of real
property in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , as described below, and
WHEREAS , an offer to ourchase said certain parcel of real
property in the sun of $80.00, plus costs , has been made by The
rational Rank of Waterloo, and
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on May 4 , 1081 at 7 : 0U
P.M. in the Council Chambers in City Hall , Waterloo, Iowa , as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , on
the proposal to sell and convey prenises owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa to The National Rank of Waterloo, Waterloo, Iowa ,
and
WHEPEAS , it is the opinion of this Council that sale and
conveyance should he made as Proposed .
NOW , THEREFORE , IT IS HERERY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS :
1 . The following described real property , as fully
described in the published notice in the Waterloo Courier on April
17 , 1981 , is not presently needed end will not te needed in the
foreseeable future for municioal purposes and its ownershin is
serving no municipal ouroose , and
2. That the offer of The National Bank of Waterloo to
purchase real property for the sun of eighty dollars ( 0.00) and
costs be , and it is hereby accented for real property described
below :
The Northwesterly ten ( 10) feet of the
Southeasterly one hundred ten ( 110) feet of Lot
No. Four (A ) and the Southwesterly twenty ( PO)
feet of the Northwesterly ten ( 10) of the
Southeasterly one hundred tan ( 110) feet of Lot
No. One ( 1 ) in Mock No. Four (4 ) , orieinal Pica
on East Side , Waterloo, Black Hawk County , Iowa.
3. That the City of Waterloo, Iowa , convey said parcels of
real property to The National Bank of Waterloo by Quit Claim Deed ,
the form of which is hereto attached and approved.
4. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute and deliver deeds to The National Rank of Waterloo.
5 . That the original of said deed fully executed and
acknowledged having been submitted with this Resolution , the sane
is hereby approved and confirned by the Council .
6. That tne City Clerk is authorized and directed to
deliver said deed of conveyance to The National Bank of Waterloo
uoon receipt of the sun of eighty dollars ( P0. 00) and costs .
