RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS , FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST , ETC . , FOR F. Y . 1981 FOWLER STREET
SANITARY SEWER PROGRAM , CONTRACT NO . 216 .
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa ,
heretofore employed Wayne Claassen Engineering & Surveying , Inc . ,
Engineers , Waterloo, Iowa , to prepare proposed , specifications and
proposed form of contract for the F . Y . 1981 Fowler Street Sanitary
Sewer Program, Contract No . 216 , in said City, and
WHEREAS , said engineers have completed the preparation of
said proposed, specifications and proposed form of contract so far
as the same relate to the F. Y . 1981 Fowler Street sanitary Sewer
program, Contract No . 216, and has this day placed the same on
file with the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and after
examination and due consideration thereof by this Council the same
appear to be in compliance with the order of this Council and
suitable for the purpose intended , now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA:
Section 1 - That said proposed specification and proposed
form of contract for the F . Y. 1981 Fowler Street Sanitary Sewer

Section 2 - That the 18th day of May , 1981 , at 7 : 00 P.M . in

specifications , form of contract , etc . , and the taking of bids ,

required by law.
