A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO STEVE
S. CONRAD , AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE ( 1 )
TEMPORARY CONCRETE DRIVEWAY IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATEr'.
OFFICIAL CRADE ,
PE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY (IF WATERLOO , IOWA :
That ,
WHEREAS , Steve S . Conrad has made written application to the
City Council asking that he be authorized and permitted to
construct one ( 1 ) temporary concrete driveway without respect to a
permanent sidewalk grade when and if the sane may he subsequently
set on lidway Castle Hill , Waterloo, N. 132. 55 . , Lot 22 known as
2221-2223 Rainbow Drive.
WHEREAS , it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa , that said request should he granted, now,
therefore ,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that perelission is hereby granted to
Steve S . Conrad to construct one ( 1 ) temporary concrete driveway
in accordance with the existing contour of the abutting land with
the subjective understanding and agreement netween the City of
Waterloo, Iowa , and the said Steve S . Conrad that , should at a
later date a permanent formal grade he established for sidewalk
ourooses or otherwise , that the said Steve S. Conrad will
Immediately t'iereafter, and at his own expense , remove all or
whatever portion of temporary concrete driveway he nay have
constructed , and rebuild or reconstruct the same in accordance
with the permanent grade as may hereafter be set and established ,
the work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
PE IT FURTHER RESOLVEO , that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Plack Hawk County Recorder for recording and the 'Black Hawk County
Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a
matter of official County Record.
Passed and adopted this 27th day of April , 1981 .
