RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF LARRY HOPE OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE F.Y. 1981 SIDEWALK
REPAIR PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 221 FOR SECTION 1
IN THE AMOUNT OF S11 ,524 . 10, SECTION 2 IN THE
AMOUNT OF S13,945.70, AND SECTION 3 IN THE
AMOUNT OF $6 ,856 .50 IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
that the bids of Larry Hope of Waterloo, Iowa for the F.Y. 1981
Sidewalk Repair Program, Sections 1 , 2,3 , Contract No. 221 , in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, filed with the City Clerk in accordance
with the terms of the published notice calling for proposals for
the construction of the said improvements, be, and the same is
hereby accepted, the bids of Larry Hope in the amount of
$11 , 524 . 10 for Section 1 , $13,945 .70 for Section II and S6, 856 .50
for Section III, being the lowest legal bids received on said
proposals, and that the contract be awarded to Larry Hope of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized, instructed and ordered to enter into
a contract on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the
construction of the said improvements with the said Larry Hope,
but said contract shall not be binding upon said city until the
same has been duly approved by the Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said
improvements be and they are hereby, rejected, and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to return unto the persons
