RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE , AND THE COMPLETION
REPORT AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY PETERSON
CONTRACTORS, INC . , FOR THE DRY RUN CREEK FLOOD CONTROL
WORKS-LIBERTY PARK AREA IMPROVEMENTS , CONTRACT NO 99A,
ACCEPTING THE WORK AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS , Peterson Contractors , Inc . , of Hudson, Iowa,have
under contract with the City of Waterloo , Iowa, furnished certain
materials and performed labor in connection with the construction
of the Dry Run Creek Flood Control Works-Liberty Park Area Im-
provements , Contract No. 99A, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS , the Completion Report of the City Engineer for the
work perfoiiiled and materials furnished by the said contractors
under said contract is $751, 002 . 65 being the total construction
cost of the project, and
WHEREAS, under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Peterson Contractors , Inc . , are to be paid 95% of the monthly
estimates as furnished by the Engineers of the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Constructors have been previously paid the
amount of $730 , 098 . 08 as per the Engineer' s Report leaving a
balance due of $3 , 203 . 12 now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Completion Report of the City Engineer be approved, the
n work accepted, said contractors , be paid the sum of $3 , 203 . 12 in
accord .nce with the City Engineer ' s Report , being payment in full
