RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO.
3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, D.H. Blattner & Sons have contracted with the Iowa
Department of Transportation for the grading portion of the I-380
and Freeway 520 interchange, generally located in southeast
Waterloo, and
WHEREAS, said contractor will be required to work twenty
(20) hours per day in order to complete said contract, and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo views the interstate project
as a much needed system,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that D. H. Blattner & Sons be authorized to exceed
the maximums of the noise ordinance.
Passed and adopted this 13th day of April, 1981 .
