RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE F,Y.
1981 RACHAEL STREET STORM SEWER, CONTRACT NO . 212 .
WHEREAS , by Resolution No . / 9 j` ..if x r, plans , specifications ,
etc. , for the F.Y. 1981 Rachael Street Storm Sewer , known as
Contract No. 212 in the City of Waterloo , Iowa, have been ap-
proved and adopted by this Council after the hearing prescribed
by statute, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered
on motion by this Council that the said improvements be construct-
ed in accordance with said plans and specifications .
That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly es-
timates , in cash, on the basis of 907 of the work as the same is
completed and materials delivered and the work approved, except
that before the last month' s payment is made the contractor may
be required to furnish the City Council vouchers showing that all
subcontractors and workmen and persons furnishing materials have
been fully paid for such materials and labor, and that the City
may retain the last month' s payment for a period of 31 days fol-
nlowing such completion and approval , unless satisfied that mat-

That said works shall be done by contract and shall be com-

tSmenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" and shall be
completed with thirty (30) calendar days thereafter.
Passed and adopted this 13th day of April , 1981.
