RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
RECEIVING OF BIDS AS APRIL 27 , 1981 , AT 7 : 00 P.M.
IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL ON THE PROPOSAL TO
SELL AND CONVEY A PORTION OF LOTS 8 & 9 , BLOCK 30 ,
ORIGINAL PLAT WATERLOO WEST . TO A DEVELOPER SELECTED
BY THE WATERLOO CITY COUNCIL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as follows :
1. That public hearing and receiving of bids will be held
by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall of Waterloo , Iowa, at 7 : 00 o' clock
P.M. on this 27th day of April, 1981 ,on the proposal to sell
and convey certain real property known as portions of lots for-
merly occupied by the West Side Library at the intersection of
West Fourth and South Streets , owned by the City of Waterloo , Iowa,
described as :
Southeast 120 feet of Lot 9 , and the southeast 120
feet of the southwest 20 feet of Lot 8 , Block 30 ,
Original Plat Waterloo West, Waterloo,Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
to a developer selected by Waterloo City Council , plus costs .
2 . That the City Council is hereby authorized and directed
to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Daily Courier by publication once not less than 4 days
nor more than 20 days before the meeting of the Council at which
said proposal is to be acted on.
Passed and adopted this 6th day of April , 1981.
