A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN OFFERS TO RELEASE RAILROAD SERVICE
FOR A RAILROAD SPUR LINE AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AGREEMENT • .:

WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa has determined it necessary to abandon.
and remove a certain Chicago and Northwestern Transportation Company spur line .,o u -.-,
in order to carry out the Waterloo Local Flood Control Project. co >

And WHEREAS, it is necessary for all property owners affected by the abandon-
ment to execute Railroad Service Releases, and such owners shall be compensated
for damages. --i ' :•'-'

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa that the offers of the Owners to Release Railroad Service on the following'

described property, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the
Agreement with the owners thereof, and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay
for the damages from Flood Control Funds.
