A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION, SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF AN ALLEY GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN
WEST 3RD STREET AND HOME PARK BLVD. AS MARCH 23 ,
1981 , AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA, as
follows :
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa at 7 : 00 P.M. , on the 23rd day of March, 1981, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate , sell and convey
an alley owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows :
That alley location between West 3rd
Street and Home Park Blvd. lying
adjacent to Lots 13 and 14 of Lewis
Miller Small Farms with the City' s
retention of an easement over, under
and above the above described parcel .
The following legally described parcel shall be sold and conveyed to
Mr . William Heene :
That portion lying south of West 3rd
Street adjacent to Lot 14, Lewis Miller
Small Farms .
The following legally described parcel shall be sold and conveyed to
Mr. and Mrs . Alvin Spaulding :
That portion lying north of Home Park
Blvd. adjacent to Lots 12 and 13 of Lewis
Miller Small Farms .
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice
of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of March, 1981 .
