RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION TO THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR AMERICAN RECOVERY AND
REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) GRANT FUNDING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application in the amount of $1,505,750.00, with no
required local match, for American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
(ARRA) grant funding for rail development in the MidPort
Industrial and Business Park, by and between the Iowa Department
of Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same
is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February, 2010.
