RESOLUTION NO. 2023-155
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF HOTEL/MOTEL
TAX COUNCIL DISCRETIONARY FUNDS TO THE
WATERLOO MUNICIPAL BAND IN THE AMOUNT OF
$23,000.00, AND THE WATERLOO POLICE DEPARTMENT
FOR UNIFORMED PRESENCE AT EVENTS, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $30,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Convention and Visitors Bureau Board's recommendation for funding two hotel -
motel mini -grant applications for the Waterloo Municipal Band in the amount of $23,000.00, and
the Waterloo Police Department for uniformed presence at events, in the amount of $30,000.00,
are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20t'I day of March 2023.
